Text Box: Mawlana Rumi Review is an annual academic review dedicated to the life, thought, poetry and legacy of Mawlana (an honorific meaning “Our Master”) Jala al-Din Rumi (d. 1273). It is a publication of the Rumi Institute, Near East University, Cyprus, and the Rumi Studies Group at the Centre for Persian and Iranian Studies, University of Exeter, U.K. The journal publishes articles, reports, poems, review articles and book reviews. Edited by Dr. Leonard Lewisohn of University of Exeter, the journal welcomes articles on Rumi’s art of story-telling, poetic imagery, theology, spiritual psychology, ecumenism, erotic spiritualty, pedagogy, hermeneutics, ethics, epistemology, prophetology, metaphysics, cosmology, and the heritage of Rumi’s thought in modern and medieval literary history, interpretation and commentary of his works such as the Mathnawi and Divan Shams, and literary translations of his poetry.
